It is not required if you decide to stay outside of Quintana Roo.
HOW DO I GET A VISITAX?
To obtain your visitax in order to spend time in the Mexican territory of Quintana Roo, you must first fill out the online form with your name, passport number, age and e-mail. Then use the secure page to pay and finally receive a unique QR Code on the e-mail 1 hour after the successful payment. The proof of payment is presented at the beginning of the stay and at the end of the stay. The tourist destinations in the Mexican state of Quintana are diverse. Located on the Mexican Caribbean Sea, Quintana Roo is home to destinations such as Cancun, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Cozumel and Puerto Aventuras.
